What We Do:

At K9 Resilience we believe that a dog and their owner are a team - two bodies, one mind. If the dog is involved and engaged in the training, so should the owner. We do not offer board and trains, because we believe most programs fall short in providing this connection between dog and owner. Many owners spend a lot of money and are left with very little understanding of training methodology and the equipment used.

 

We offer three forms of training at affordable rates. We accept cash, check or payment through PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle.

 

In Home Lessons - We will come to your home, formulate a plan, and work with you individually on the issues you are facing. In home lessons are a good choice for dealing with counter surfing, marking, resource guarding, inappropriate behavior towards visitors, management, and more!

 

Public Lessons - We will meet you in a public location and work individually with you on the issues you are facing. We may meet at parks, stores, etc. tailored to the dog’s needs for training. Public lessons are good for dealing with reactivity towards other dogs and strangers, appropriate behavior on leash, and building engagement and focus towards the handler.

 

Group Classes - When we have enough interest we may offer group classes where we meet in a public location. Like minded dog owners can work on their skills in a group setting!

Board & Train - Your dog will come stay in my home for an extended amount of time and work on whatever your goals are!

Virtual Lessons and Consults - Do you travel for work, live on the road, are home-bound?  Virtual lessons may be a good fit for you! We can also do virtual consults before in person training if you feel it would be more conductive to training and we highly recommend it! It's a lot easier to express your feelings, needs and issues by talking it out beforehand!

Phone Call Discussion (Training Advice or Consult) - Are you looking for some quick tips or want to spend a little time talking things over before we get a lesson scheduled?

Pet Sitting, Walking, and Exercising - Do you have to work long hours? Do you want someone to come in home while you're on vacation instead of boarding? Does your dog have excessive drive and need an outlet? Please reach out and we can give you an estimate!

Boarding (for training clients) - If your dog is training or has completed training with us, we may be able to board them considering our travel schedule! We try to be as flexible as possible, but please reach out well in advance if you are in need, so that we can better accommodate you!
